Open PrepareBuddy work from Google Classroom
Your teacher posts the activity in Google Classroom. You open it from there, do the work in PrepareBuddy, and your mark appears in Classroom when your teacher releases it.
Open your activity
- Open Google Classroom with your class account, the Google account you use for this class.
- Open the assignment and select the PrepareBuddy link in it.
- Select Continue with Google and choose the same class account.
- The first time, Google asks for permission so PrepareBuddy can hand in your work for you. Tick every box, then continue. (During a pilot Google may show "Google hasn't verified this app"; your teacher will tell you whether to continue.)
- Do the activity in PrepareBuddy and submit it.
A few minutes later your Classroom assignment shows Turned in. You do not need a PrepareBuddy password: Google signs you in.
Your result
Your teacher may check your work before releasing the mark, so it can take a while. When it is released:
- the mark appears in Google Classroom;
- the full feedback is in PrepareBuddy: open the same link again to see it. PrepareBuddy may show a red note saying the work has already been submitted; that is normal, and your feedback is on the same page.
The two can show different totals for the same result. For example, 16 out of 20 in PrepareBuddy is 80 out of 100 in Classroom.
If your class is linked to a course
Your institute may also make your whole class students of a PrepareBuddy course. Then you can use PrepareBuddy any time, not only through Classroom assignments: go to the PrepareBuddy sign-in page, choose Login with Google and pick your class account. If you already had a PrepareBuddy password, keep signing in with your password.
If something goes wrong

Never send your password or any code Google shows you to anyone, including your teacher or support. If you need help, share the activity's name and the message you see.
